Hunt Transportation, Inc. is one of the oldest transportation companies in Nebraska, providing continuous service since 1927. Headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, Hunt has a storied history, from hauling livestock in the early years to today as one of the nation’s premier flatbed and specialized transportation providers. Hunt joined the Crete Carrier Corporation family of companies in 1999 and currently operates approximately 300 power units and 650 flatbed, drop-deck, RGN, and curtain side trailers serving the 48 contiguous states. Hunt transports agricultural and construction equipment and materials and any commodity that requires flatbed or specialized equipment.

Owner-Operators and small to medium sized fleet owners have been, and will continue to be, an integral part of Hunt Transportation. Owner-Operators joining Hunt are compensated based on Rand McNally Practical Route miles as opposed to the short route miles used by many other carriers. Our fuel support keeps your fuel cost at or below $1.20 per gallon and is also paid using practical route miles.
